One Certificate, Two Ways
The cybersecurity certificate at CSU Global is offered in two distinct formats to cater to diverse student needs and goals:
Undergraduate Certificate in Cybersecurity: This is a focused six-course, 18-credit certificate featuring 300/400-level cybersecurity courses. This option is suited for those who have already earned at least 12 college credits.
Undergraduate Certificate in Cybersecurity with Leadership Fundamentals: This 27-credit option expands upon the base certificate by offering three additional courses dedicated to fundamental leadership skills. This path is designed for first-time freshmen, provisional applicants, and those looking to integrate their certificate with general education credits toward a bachelor’s degree.
Each pathway is tailored to provide students with the necessary skills and knowledge for success in cybersecurity. The second option offers enhanced leadership training for a well-rounded educational experience.
This 18-credit-hour, stand-alone program consists of six, three-credit courses.

Note: The choice between ORG100 and ORG300 will be determined through advising, tailored to align with each student’s individual learning experiences.
