Colorado State University Global Launches Six New Online Programs in Growing Industry Fields

As part of its university mission to facilitate workplace success, Colorado State University Global (CSU Global) is launching six new fully online programs of study beginning March 17. The new programs will include two bachelor’s degrees, two master’s degrees, one undergraduate certificate, and one graduate certificate.

By leveraging industry needs and job demand and wage data, CSU Global has identified new program needs in the healthcare, legal, operations, business, organizational development, and information systems fields to address workforce training opportunities. Through an analysis of market trends, emerging technologies, and identified employer demands, CSU Global has designed its programs of study centered on work-ready assignments and industry tools that equip students with the skills required to excel in their professional careers and help ensure a return on investment for their time and money.

“We are thrilled to launch these new programs, which are designed to directly address the evolving needs of today’s workforce within the University’s supportive learning environment. At CSU Global, we believe that education should be flexible, accessible, and aligned with real-world demands for intentionally-designed programs that empower students with the practical skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their careers and contribute meaningfully to their industries,” said Dr. Becky Takeda-Tinker, CSU Global President.

As a leader in online education focused on supporting professional success, the University’s program-completers continue to report a compelling return on investment from their CSU Global education. From a 2024 survey, undergraduate program-completers reported up to a 58% increase in their median income, depending on their program, while graduate program-completers reported up to an 83% increase.

Legal Studies Program Information

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), employment of lawyers is projected to grow 5% from 2023 to 2033, and their annual median income is $145,760. CSU Global’s B.S. in Legal Studies aligns directly with the legal field to prepare students for entry into law school. The coursework covers all areas of fundamental law and legal principles and provides students with the analytical, research, writing, and knowledge-base they need.

Operations and Supply Chain Management Program Information

Employment in operations and supply chain is expected to grow 19% from 2023-2033, much faster than average, according to the U.S. BLS. CSU Global’s program will equip graduates to fill these organizational roles, focusing on developing skills in the critical areas of operations management, systems analysis, supply chain management, and quality management.

International Business and Leadership Program Information

CSU Global’s Master’s in International Business Studies prepares students for leadership roles in multinational corporations and organizations. The coursework teaches learners cultural business issues, international regulations, and the strategic planning necessary to succeed in today’s dynamic global marketplace.

The M.S. in Leadership and Organizational Development prepares students to lead dynamic organizations as they build an organization from inception to maturity by developing structures, people, processes, strategic initiatives, positive culture, and influential communication. According to the U.S. BLS, business and financial occupations are projected to grow faster than the average for all occupations from 2023 to 2033, with about 963,500 openings projected each year.

Long-Term Care Administration Program Information

This undergraduate-level certificate in Long-Term Care Administration is for learners who want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the aging population. As the demand for skilled administrators continues to rise, this program focuses on providing graduates with leadership and management skills to navigate the complexities of long-term care facilities. According to the U.S. BLS, medical and health services employment is expected to grow by 29% between 2023-2033, which is much faster than average.

Information Systems Auditing Program Information

The graduate-level certificate in Information Systems Auditing is designed to develop skills to perform security audits for information systems. Students will acquire the knowledge and abilities to review organization-wide information technology infrastructure, determine the integrity of information systems, and validate that all applicable security policies and compliance is in place.
