CSU Global Colorado Promise Grant

As part of its mission to advance student academic and professional success, CSU Global’s Colorado Promise Grant is a means for undergraduate Colorado residents to achieve their higher education goals.

Eligibility Requirements

Recipients must be residents of Colorado
Recipients must have a current FAFSA on file with CSU Global
Recipients must be Pell eligible (full or partial)
Recipients must be first-time freshman or new transfer students with less than 60 transfer credits, starting in the Fall 2024 A term or later
Recipients must be enrolled in an undergraduate certificate program or bachelor degree program and register for at least 6 credits per trimester

Freshman or transfer students who receive the CSU Global Promise Grant are eligible for the award in subsequent trimesters contingent upon continuously meeting the following eligibility requirements:

Maintain residency in the state of Colorado
Continue to qualify for Pell Grant funds in future FAFSA years
Maintain enrollment in an eligible undergraduate certificate or bachelor degree program
Continued enrollment at a half-time rate or higher each trimester
Maintain Good Academic and Financial standing with the university
- 2.00 GPA or higher
- 66.66% Completion Rate or higher
- Must not exceed Maximum Timeframe

Awarding Process & Start Dates

There is no application required to receive this grant. Students will be reviewed for eligibility each trimester and will be automatically awarded as long as grant funds remain available. New first-time freshman and new transfer students who enroll beginning in the Fall 2024 A term or subsequent terms in the 2024-25 academic year and meet all eligibility requirements will receive the CSU Global Colorado Promise Grant. Awarding will begin in the C term of each trimester and will continue through the students’ active enrollment period at CSU Global as long as they maintain eligibility.
