CSU Global helps students find and apply for external scholarships through Scholarship Universe, a tool that matches you with scholarships based on your background, interests, and goals. There are many scholarships for college students out there, and we encourage you to seek them out. Any number of corporations and organizations offer scholarship opportunities with specific eligibility criteria. Here are some valuable tips for scholarship applications.

Many corporations and organizations offer scholarship opportunities and we encourage you to seek them out. In each case, you must meet the particular eligibility criteria and application requirements to be considered. Some resources that might help with your search include:

Use employer tuition benefits

Many students combine external scholarships with financial aid and employer tuition reimbursement to make earning a degree more affordable. If you’re using employer benefits, CSU Global offers a delayed tuition due date once your benefits are confirmed, helping you better manage timing and payments.

If your employer offers tuition assistance, CSU Global can defer payment for eligible students until 30 days after the end of each term. In some cases, we can also bill your employer directly. Check with your supervisor or HR team to understand your company’s specific tuition reimbursement program.

Check for partner tuition savings

CSU Global partners with organizations across industries to support workforce education. Employees of partner organizations may be eligible for tuition reductions or education benefits. We collaborate with companies such as Amazon, Walmart, Denver International Airport, and Denver Public Schools. You can check if your employer is a partner and what benefits may be available to you.

General Scholarship Terms and Conditions

The following general terms and conditions apply to all CSU Global institutional scholarship programs. Please see the individual scholarship pages for eligibility criteria which may supersede the general terms and conditions outlined below. Terms and conditions for other online college scholarships may vary.

The application must be completed in full and submitted by the deadline for that award period to be considered. Additional criteria or documentation for the specific scholarship program for which the applicant is applying must also be met.
All eligibility requirements must be met by the student at the application deadline.
Employees of the Colorado State University System are not eligible for CSU Global institutional scholarships.
Students can receive only one scholarship per award period unless otherwise specified by the specific scholarship criteria and award amounts can be applied to future courses only.
Scholarship award recipients will be determined solely by the CSU Global Scholarship Committee. All decisions are final.
Recipients must pay all student account balances prior to receiving scholarship awards.
Recipients must be in Good Academic Standing with the university as defined in the catalog and maintain quality academic progress while being awarded the scholarship.
Scholarship recipients must maintain continuous enrollment.
Scholarships awarded by credit hours are awarded at the student’s lowest approved tuition rate after all other discounts have been applied.
Award amounts apply for CSU Global tuition only and have no cash value. Additional educational expenses are the responsibility of the recipient.
Unless otherwise noted, scholarship recipients must complete a new application to be considered in subsequent award periods.
Policies are subject to change at the sole discretion of the scholarship committee or the university.
