Maximize Your Military Training as Part of Your Education

CSU Global may accept military service as college credit if it has been evaluated according to American Council on Education Guidelines. Content of credit accepted in transfer may not duplicate coursework previously taken.

Submitting Military Education Transcripts

Military service and college credits are evaluated when official copies of transcripts for military schools are received by the Office of Admission.

  • U.S. Army, Navy, Coast Guard, and Marine personnel: Submit a Joint Services transcript.
  • U.S. Air Force personnel: Submit a Community College of the Air Force transcript or Air University transcript.
  • Please note: CCAF and AU are regionally accredited institutions and are therefore not considered a nontraditional source of credit.
  • Transcripts will be reviewed, and the length of the program will be adjusted accordingly. Students will be provided a customized degree plan upon the completion of credit review which will provide the number of transfer credits applied toward their educational program.

The State of Colorado has designated certain Military Training and Occupational Designations as GtPathways approved. Please consult with your Student Success Counselor for more information on transferring military education to college credit.
