CSU Global is closely monitoring the evolving coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Our utmost priority is keeping the CSU Global community safe and healthy and abiding by recommendations and guidance as outlined by public health experts. 

While many interactions in our institution occur online or via the phone, we understand that our stakeholders located around the world may be in areas being impacted differently. Please utilize this page for resources and updates as they become available.

Any member of the CSU Global community is encouraged to notify the university immediately if they have tested positive or may be impacted due to personal obligations or local area requirements.

 

 3/26/20 UPDATE:  Colorado Stay at Home Order

CSU Global’s headquarters in Aurora, Colorado is currently closed due to a Stay At Home Order from the local public health agency, Tri-County Health, effective until April 17th at 11:59 pm. All business operations are continuing as usual in a remote capacity. Please visit CSUGlobal.edu/about/contact-us for specific department contact information.

 

3/18/20 UPDATE: Commencement

The evolving Coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) resulting in expanding travel restrictions has required the University to consider options for our planned in-person Commencement Ceremony scheduled for May 30, 2020. Based on all of the information currently available and your survey feedback, we have made the difficult decision to not cancel, but instead to postpone until later in the year, our in-person ceremony.

We hope that you will join us in the fully virtual ceremony on May 30, and/or participate in the in-person ceremony being scheduled for later this year which will be announced by September 1, 2020 if not sooner.

For Students 

Please contact your Student Success Counselor for any needs or assistance or work with your instructors for course-specific questions related to your ability to meet course deadlines.

Espyr is CSU Global’s our Student Assistance Program. They are standing by 24/7/365 to assist students free of charge for referral services or counseling. Please contact your Student Success Counselor or check your student email for the password to access this program by phone at 866-734-5890 or online at www.espyr.com

Prospective Students

CSU Global has enacted a temporary policy that allows the university to change how it considers student application documentation during the COVID-19 pandemic. Learn more here, or contact an Enrollment Counselor at enroll@csuglobal.edu or 800-462-7845.

For Faculty 

Please contact your program chair, mentor, or anyone on the academic leadership team with any questions to assist your ability to achieve your educational commitment to the university or to your students. 

For Staff 

Staff members should work with their direct supervisor or department heads if their job duties will be impacted or if there is a need to take leave related to COVID-19. Staff members who are full- or part-time in our Aurora headquarters are encouraged to work fully remote unless events, meetings, or duties require in-office presence.

Staff are encouraged to cease all non-essential travel, especially to highly infected regions, and should contact their supervisor if any current or upcoming travel arrangements on behalf of the university could be impacted.

For Faculty & Staff

The behavioral and social changes we are being asked to make may also cause unique and unforeseen challenges for individuals. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to your supervisor or anyone on the leadership team. In addition to the support of a great group of employees here at Global, and your typical health benefits, CSUG employees have access to two assistance programs:

  • The Colorado State Employee Assistance Program (C-SEAP) is a voluntary, work-based program that offers free and confidential assessments, short-term counseling, referrals, and follow-up services to employees who have personal and/or work-related problems. The C-SEAP addresses a broad and complex body of issues affecting mental and emotional well-being. The C-SEAP program can be reached by calling 1-800-821-8154.
  • Cigna's Life Assistance Program is a work/life support program offered through Cigna. They have support available 24/7 and can be reached at 1-800-538-3543.
