In 2017, CSU-Global commissioned a third-party economic impact study to measure the return-on-investment (ROI) of a CSU-Global education, as well as state and national indirect economic contributions made by graduates.
Thousands of CSU-Global graduates are now active members of the national labor force. The study reports that during 2015-16, CSU-Global students and their employers added $36.3 million to the national economy - this dollar amount represents 483 jobs.
Nationally, CSU-Global students paid a total education cost of $80.7 million. forgoing $17.2 million in earnings while earning degrees. The student ROI on this investment is $394.1 million in increased earnings over their working lives. This translates to a return of $4 for every dollar invested in a CSU-Global education, with an average annual return of 15.2 percent.
CSU-Global receives no taxpayer support, but provides a taxpayer benefit of $203.9 million via increased business output contributed by CSU-Global graduates.
