Colorado State University Global
So, you want to visit CSU Global? Well, here’s the thing – we’re an online university. That means our “campus” is really wherever you and your device happen to be – your couch, a coffee shop, or maybe even a beach somewhere (lucky you). Our classes and support services all happen virtually, so you can learn from anywhere in the world.
That said, we do have an administrative office in Denver, Colorado, and we accommodate visitors by appointment only (we don’t do pop-ins). You can email us here to schedule an appointment. For a full list of contact information, visit our Contact Us page.
If you’re hand-delivering transcripts or other important documents, you’ll want to visit the security desk located in the lobby of our building, you’ll drop them in the secure dropbox located outside the CSU Global suite (165). You don’t need an appointment for that.
Each June, CSU Global holds our Commencement ceremony and welcomes hundreds of CSU Global graduates to Denver. If you are looking for more details on Commencement, visit our information page.
If you plan to visit our administrative office, here’s what you need to know:
For more detailed information, please refer to our Building Quick Reference Guide (PDF), which includes campus safety protocols, fire inspection reports, floor plans with evacuation routes, and HAZMAT information.
Did you know Denver’s called the “Mile High City” because it’s literally one mile above sea level? Yep, the city sits at 5,280 feet in elevation. Plus, Denver gets about 300 days of sunshine a year, so whether you’re hiking in the Rockies or checking out the local scene, chances are you’ll have plenty of blue skies.
That mile-high elevation can take some getting used to if you’re coming from lower altitudes, but no worries – Visit Denver, our friendly destination marketing organization, has some high-altitude tips and know-before-you-go information that includes public transportation options for getting around. For trip inspiration, Lonely Planet offers 16 things to know before visiting Denver.
If you're visiting Denver, here are a few key safety tips from the Denver Police Department:
Keep an eye on your belongings, especially in busy areas. Report any suspicious activity to the non-emergency line at (720) 913-2000 or dial 911 for emergencies.
Always lock your car, park in well-lit areas, and avoid leaving valuables in plain sight.
Use well-traveled, well-lit paths when walking around. Stay alert, especially when alone.
For urgent situations, call 911. For non-emergencies, call (720) 913-2000.
If visiting the CSU Global office, familiarize yourself with the nearest exits and stairwells. Exit signs are clearly marked.
For information about Denver crime rates, the Denver Police Department has created this map. CSU Global’s office building is located in the “CBD” neighborhood.
