Giving Thanks for Education

what are you thankful for?

Well, we have been seeing holiday decorations popping up all around us since the day after Halloween, and now we can say the season is officially here! Whether your decorations have been up for hours or weeks, we hope you are excited for the season ahead.

This is the time of year to reflect on our many blessings, including friends, family, health, employment, and the countless things that add meaning to our lives. It can be so easy to get caught up in the day to day craziness, but it is important to take a step back and think about the reasons we do the things we do, and be thankful for the many opportunities we have.

At CSU Global, we are thankful for our ability to help provide educational possibilities that can help you achieve your life goals. Here are a few of the aspects of education that we are most thankful for:

1. Knowledge – Whether you are in a formal classroom or learning things through other life experiences, education is something that can never be taken away. At CSU Global we believe in the power of education and the many opportunities it presents us to become better employees, parents, and citizens. We are thankful to be part of a community that fosters learning and growth.

2. Community – We work to build a community within our classroom that is focused on both emotional support and student success. Whether it is the advice of a faculty member, a question about registration answered by their student advisor, or a helpful comment left by a fellow classmate, our online community is here to support our students from their first class all the way through until graduation.

3. Opportunity – By challenging ourselves through education, we are opening the door to countless opportunities. Whether that be a promotion, a career change, or simply being a role model for those around you, continuing your education has a domino effect that will positively influence our society as a whole.

We hope you all have a restful holiday, filled with love and a whole lot of turkey… just be sure those discussion questions are posted by 11:59 p.m. MST ;–)
