What to Expect for Federal Student Aid (Title IV) Funding

The U.S. Department of Education has issued guidance stating that it expects minimal impact on students during this lapse in federal appropriations. This is because the majority of Title IV programs, including Pell Grants and federal student loans, are funded through a forward-funding model. This means that funds have already been allocated for the current academic year, and the processing and disbursement of these funds should continue as scheduled.

Therefore, CSU Global does not anticipate any immediate or direct impact on your access to Title IV funds, such as:

• Pell Grants: Grant disbursements should proceed as planned.
• Federal Student Loans: The processing and disbursement of Federal Direct Loans (Subsidized, Unsubsidized, and PLUS) are expected to continue without interruption.
