Learning Outcomes Assessment

As a state university, the quality of CSU-Global’s academic programs is a top priority. This includes ensuring students are gaining the knowledge and skills required to be successful. To accomplish this, the university has a thorough and robust model for assessing student learning that helps it make continuous improvements to the curriculum and recommendations for better student performance.

Student academic performance data, linked to program learning outcomes, is gathered and analyzed twice a year.

The information in this area indicates the percentage of students who met expectations on program learner outcomes. CSU-Global’s goal is for 80% of undergraduate students to meet expectations, and for 85% of graduate students to meet expectations, defined as an overall score of 85% or higher on program outcome assessments. Program improvements are made when goals are not met.

The below results are for the Fall 2017 reporting period which includes student learning data from January 2017 through June 2017.
