As our society becomes more complex and fast-paced, our law enforcement professionals must continually adapt and improve. Technological advances alone have created a plethora of new crimes that can be committed. There is also a great deal of focus on law enforcement from the media and the community. How does a Criminal Justice degree from CSU Global help in this ever-changing and challenging field of law enforcement? For starters, its curriculum is taught by current and former criminal justice professionals. Our [TS1] instructors have experience across the criminal justice system, at the federal, state, and local levels, as well as in the private sector. The wealth of experience that they bring helps our students not only learn current and relevant content, but also build skills that are invaluable and necessary for today’s law enforcement professionals. Our courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels focus on a wide variety of criminal justice topics with the intent of preparing students for entry into the field, promotion within the field, and/or furthering one’s education with an advanced degree. Our students are challenged through scenario-based assignments, with the most current online-interactive technology, that build the following skills: critical thinking, communication (oral and written), problem-solving, project management, research, and data analytics. The demands on today’s law enforcement professionals seem to be higher than ever before. Solving modern problems and preventing those of the future is no easy task. At CSU Global, we are committed to our students and want to contribute to our communities’ safekeeping. Our bachelor’s and master’s degree programs have helped many aspiring and current law enforcement professionals achieve their occupational goals.
