keith-knies-headshot.jpgCSU Global is excited to announce the 2017-2018 Board of Governor’s Student Representative, Keith Knies. Knies was chosen from an excellent set of candidates to represent CSU Global at the CSU System Board of Governor’s meetings for the next year.

Knies is earning his bachelor’s in human resource management, with a specialization in organizational leadership. He is a senior instructor with a large technology company in Boulder, CO. He is also a husband and father to two school-age daughters. As a family, they enjoy the Colorado outdoors and soccer.

“I am excited to represent our campus before the Board of Governors of the Colorado State University System, because I look forward to using my college experience and my work experience in adult education and training to advocate for our student body,” said Knies. “Like so many of you, I am pursuing a degree while working and caring for a family. For each of us, CSU Global fulfils a rather unique need in continuing education. I want to do my part to ensure that the CSU System continues to meet the current and future needs of students like you and me. I look forward to serving you in the coming year.”

The board of governor’s representative serves as an ambassador for CSU Global students at the CSU System board of governor’s meetings, and is an annually-appointed position. To learn about last year’s representative, Andrea Buchmeier, click here.
