CSU-Global senior vice president of marketing, Lauren Burns, will present at the Online Learning Consortium (OLC) Innovate Conference in April.

Burns’ presentation, “180-Degree Lens: Nontraditional Approaches to Engaging and Retaining Nontraditional Learners,” discusses how CSU-Global has achieved exceptional nontraditional student retention and workplace success utilizing data and a focus on career-relevant skills development. The presentation centers on a higher education framework to deliver student return on investment and immediate implementation of learned lessons to the workplace.

The OLC Innovate conference exists to foster organic interactions and collaborative problem solving across multiple disciplines. According to the OLC, “Together we will build a new foundation for stronger, better higher education environments. And because innovation scales best when ideas are shared, our work sessions will explore emerging technologies and adapted teaching behaviors aimed at informing policy, inspiring leadership, and evolving practice at all levels impacting institutions, universities and colleges.” The conference is held in New Orleans, Louisiana, April 5-7, 2017.
