Greenwood Village, CO (Tuesday, October 31) - Colorado State University Global ( CSU Global ) is hosting a virtual conference focused on the future of online higher education. This event will take place on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Mountain Time.

The theme of the conference – which will take place entirely online – is “Addressing the New Majority: Modern Approaches for Nontraditional Students.” The conference will address various topics such as enhancing the student and faculty experience in online higher education, generational differences in learning and working, innovative ways to strengthen engagement, and more.

The conference schedule features keynote presentations from Dr. Ted Mitchell, President, American Council on Education; Mark Protus, Director of Modern Learning and Video, Microsoft Office; and Dr. Becky Takeda-Tinker, president and CEO of CSU Global.

Panel discussions will feature faculty and student voices as well as leaders from organizations such as UPCEA, U.S. News & World Report, Hobson’s, Burning Glass, Gallup and DaVita, among others. Panel topics include:

  • How Do Partnerships Better Online Higher Education?
  • On Both Sides of Online Education: The Student and Faculty Experience
  • What is the Next Generation of Learner and How Do We Serve Them?
  • What Data Points Drive Nontraditional Student Engagement or Success?

CSU Global will also premier a new documentary short at the event focused on higher education journeys as told by nontraditional students.
