The university has not raised its rates since 2011. By comparison, College Board reports that public, four-year institutions have experienced an average increase in tuition and fees of more than 10% during that same span.
“Our mission is to ensure all students have access to affordable, high quality, and career-relevant education that provides a real return on their investment,” said Dr. Becky Takeda-Tinker, president and CEO of CSU-Global. “The staff and faculty work collaboratively each year to find efficiencies through technology and refined, data-driven processes to keep tuition costs steady - we all take great pride in our ability to provide the highest value possible for modern learners who seek education from a fully accredited, state university that focuses on their unique needs. ”
A recent economic impact study showed that every $1 a CSU-Global student spends on their educational expenses provides $4 in higher earning potential. Despite its status as a public state university, CSU-Global does not receive any state appropriation and is solely funded by its tuition revenue. Its ability to maintain operational efficiency while demonstrating student satisfaction and a quantifiable return on investment is therefore critical for its continued long-term success.
