CSU-Global Now Accepting Colorado Freshman of All Ages
As of our Winter A semester, all first-time freshmen in Colorado will be able to enroll in CSU-Global courses. Governor Hickenlooper signed the Senate Bill 18-101 bill into law on March 22, 2018, which allows CSU-Global to admit first-time Colorado freshman of any age, regardless of how much previous college experience they have.
CSU-Global was founded in 2007, with the intention of serving working adults who had previous college credits but no bachelor’s degree. Since 2014, when Senate Bill 14-114 was signed into law, CSU-Global has been able to accept first-time, first-year freshmen from every U.S. state except Colorado, and was only able to accept Colorado students who had 12 or more transfer credits.
CSU-Global’s mission is to provide affordable, high-quality, and career-relevant education to students of all ages, and to prepare them for the jobs of the future. We offer a flexible, personalized, student-centered approach to career success via online education.
