Colorado State University-Global Campus has a streamlined admissions process to make applying to the university quick and easy so you can begin taking classes in the next available term in most cases. Military college admission requires transcripts from all previously attended universities as well as from your branch of the services as outlined below.

CSU-Global special Military Tuition Rates and CSU-Global’s Tuition Guarantee make earning your degree more attainable than ever. Military benefits come in a variety of forms based on your status and including tuition assistance and veteran’s education benefits. CSU-Global will defer payment while your military benefits are processing; however, if you are not eligible for benefits, or have reduced benefits you will be responsible for any uncovered charges. CSU-Global recognizes military non-traditional credit (training and occupational experience) by evaluating military transcripts for possible applicability towards your degree. Students should submit all their official transcripts, including military transcripts, to CSU-Global for review in order to ensure the maximum amount of credit is transferred. CSU-Global Campus will accept up to 90 total credits in transfer, including up to 60 from non-traditional sources of credit like military training and experience.
The American Council on Education (ACE) reviews training courses and occupational experiences and makes a credit recommendation for potential college transfer, based on the learning outcomes of your training or experience. The ACE Military Guide provides an example of a credit recommendation and allows you to look up a training course you may have taken, or your current occupation, using the ACE ID number listed on your military transcript. The American Council on Education also provides a list of frequently asked questions and a Transfer Guide to help you better understand your military service credit.
Please note that a credit recommendation by ACE is not a guarantee that your military training/experience will be accepted in transfer, but it does provide the information needed by CSU-Global in order to evaluate your military transcripts for possible credit transfer. Please review the Academic Catalog for the university’s transfer policies. All students will receive a degree plan after submitting their official transcripts so students are recommended to submit transcripts as soon as possible using the instructions below.
