Master's Degree Specializations

CSU-Global graduate online degree programs are customized to meet your specific educational and career-oriented goals through a variety of online master’s degree specializations. Each of these specializations consists of four graduate courses (12 credit hours) as a supplement to their program major. Specializations allow students to select a series of courses in a career-relevant area based on professional and personal interests.

Specializations allow you to gain skills in specific areas of study for your online Master of Science program, like a minor or degree concentration. These customize your degree and demonstrate an advanced knowledge of the subject for your specific career goals. A specialized online degree from CSU-Global is tailored to your needs—now and into the future.

Not all specializations are available for each degree program. See the specific program pages for information about which M.S. degree specializations are available for your program. Students should complete most major courses for their program (except the capstone prep and capstone project) before taking specialization courses. New students should first enroll in a degree program through CSU-Global’s streamlined admissions process before selecting a specialization. All courses in CSU-Global's graduate specializations are regionally accredited to meet the university's standard for academic excellence.
